🐾 Name My Pet

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains what information Animal Name Picker collects and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Searches: the options you choose in the generator are used to create name ideas. We don’t require an account to search.
  • Favorites: names you heart are stored in your browser’s local storage. If you create an account, they are also stored with your account.
  • Account information: if you sign up, we store your email address, sign-up date, and whether you opted in to tips and deals.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our host and analytics tools may collect IP addresses, browser type and pages visited. IP addresses are also used briefly to prevent abuse.

How we use information

We use your email to send sign-in links and, only if you opt in, occasional pet-naming tips and deals. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell your email address.

Affiliate links

Some links, such as custom name tag links, may be affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@animalnamepicker.com.
